Common Fin whale in Ghent

[displayName]On Monday, November 9th, 2015 a whale was found on a ship in the port of Ghent. Marine mammal specialist Jan Haelters of the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences is responsible for the further scientific research of the whale.

Baby Dinosaurs from Mongolia

Reinout VerbekeBelgian palaeontologists have described baby dinosaurs with associated shell fragments. The Saurolophus dinosaurs were likely from a nest. The find sheds more light on the earliest stages of development of this giant hadrosaur species with typical crest.
